Properties
Pure ethyrimol is the colourless crystals .Technical product is a white powder., melting point is 159~160℃(phase change at c. 140℃), When room temperature in the water solubility is 0.02g/100ml, hardly dissolve in acetone , slightly soluble in diacetone mellow ethyl alcoho, dissolve in chloroform, trichlorethane, strong acid strong alkali. To hot as well as in alkalinity and in acid solution stable.

Aapplications;
A pyrimidine systemic fungicide with protective and curative action. Absorbed by the roots and leaves. With translocation in the xylem, but not in the phloem. Control of powdery mildew on barley, wheat, and oats. Applied as a seed dressing, at 4 g/1000 g seed, a foliar spray, at 250-350 g/ha, or to the soil in the root zone. Also used for control of powdery mildews on cucurbits.
